NY Fall Equinox Ceremony
The Fall Equinox occurs when day and night are of equal length, marking a cosmic tipping point where light gives way to darkness. It symbolizes balance, gratitude for the harvest, and a sacred shift toward introspection as nature prepares for winter

The Ceremony will be facilitated by our beloved Elder Barbara Snyder. Community members will guide us through teachings about Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. We will visit the Atlantic Ocean together, and put ourselves in the Water together. You may be called to get your feet wet or go all the way in! The Water will be warm. Our Ceremony will also include Pipe Ceremony, Prayer, and the opening of the Grandmother Moon Bundle Heartstone.
Our intention for Ceremony is to foster a deeper sense of community and connection, and connect with Spirits and Energy. We ask that you bring an offering to Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, if called.

Christina writes: Watercolors dropped onto thickened water is a medium that provides joy and amazement, and was begun over a thousand years ago and is enjoyed now by many. I had the great fortune to be introduced to this art of marbling when I was around thirty running a small art school and have enjoyed it ever since. The vibrant watercolors expand next to each other creating designs that can be random and wild or can be combed and astonishingly complex. I have loved being outside hiking most of my life now and feel close to the elements when I marble. Water Tree is an example of the feeling and movement of marbling. The elements must be balanced when we marble for an image to be made, reminding me of the Equinoxes.
