On April 5, 2025, a Memorial Celebration & Remembrance was held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NYC. This video excerpt of the Celebration features the remembrances and stories from the Native Elders, facilitated by Charles Lawrence in traditional Talking Circle fashion. Many Native Elders from near and afar were invited to attend, those who had met and were beloved and supported in countless ways by Ann’s kindnesses, love, respect, vigilant oversight & generous financial assistance to help the people.

A very dear and special friend of mine has passed into the Spirit Land… her name was Ann Roberts Rockefeller.
I met her through Charles Lawrence in New York City in the early 90’s, not knowing how we would affect each other’s lives in the future and the adventures we would have!
I have many tales I could tell you of our special friendship as I sit here on a cold winter Idaho night, thinking of those days and years… they were “shining times” to say the least.
Ann was truly a unique person coming from a life of privilege as a Rockefeller. Unbeknownst to many she was a mystic and a spiritual seeker since her teenage years. She also was a person who could make herself at home in any situation she found herself in. She passed no judgement on current surroundings or people that she experienced in her travels through life. She was indeed an adventuress!…
