Our prayers have many forms. Here we offer a Prayer in action, shared by the family of one of our younger dancers…

Our daughter Phoebe, a fellow Tennessee dancer, has taken a bold step. She has successfully raised over $1000 for charity. Phoebe got up on a stage with her peers, in a room packed with friends and family, and had her head shaved in honor of St. Baldrick’s Day – supporting pediatric cancer research and awareness. Locks of Love envelopes were available for the kids to donate their hair for pediatric wigs. Their willingness to participate and “do something” is inspiring. These kids are amazing.
Requesting prayers for Phoebe as she goes boldly forward into the vision of her future. But not just Phoebe — prayers up for all the young people trying to make sense of these challenging times.
Prayers up for all the kids out there struggling to find the truth in the face of division and disinformation. May they find good counsel and safe haven with trustworthy elders.
Prayers for their fearlessness and courage as they stand up for themselves. May they find comfort in community as they learn to lean on each other.
Prayers for the fortitude of their convictions as they demand change for what they know is right. May acceptance and patience strengthen their resolve.
Prayers for their ability to temper strength with compassion and soften honesty with kindness.
May we trust them to guide us all to a better future, for tomorrow truly does belong to the kids.
